Barrydale is 250km from Cape Town and approximately half
way to Oudtshoorn which is famous for the Cango Caves, Crocodile Park,
Ostrich Farms and Meerkat Magic (the Meerkat
experience). From Oudtshoorn one can take the
spectacular Outeniqua Pass to George and on to Knysna and the Garden
Route proper.
Barrydale is also close to Sanbona
Game Park which is the sister camp to the famous
Shamwari. It is a quaint, restful town offering
amazing mountain walks, kloofing, a spectacular pass, swimming in our
mountain river, 4 wheeler quad fun, 4 x 4 trails and, of course, our
good food!
Country
Pumpkin Restaurant's opening Hours are: Summer: 7am to
6pm 7 days a week.
Winter: 8am to 5pm
7 days a week. We are closed Christmas
Day and Boxing Day.
